itswayner
I have some soft corals and a sps (birds nest). How do I make it so they grow faster? This is all in a 15gH with 96wPCs. I do 2-3 gallon water changes every 2 weeks and I don't feed anything right now. Tank also has one emerald crab, 5 hermits, one conch, 8-10 random snails. I use IO salt and top off with RO water. reefinnewb
how old is the tank? As youve probably heard dont try and rush anything in this hobby it only leads to bad things. Let the coral grow at their pace. The only way to make them grow faster is to feed them and give them adequate lighting. Could feed the sps some phyto and the softies i would just let them grow. Are they leather, shrooms? Link to comment
itswayner
Tank was setup Aug 2005 so I guess about 6 months? Softies are shrooms, toadstool , rics and zoos. Link to comment
reefinnewb
lol i know what softies are but some people refer to some corals as softies and they arent. Pretty much just let them go not much you can feed them other than some phyto but watch how much because you can cause your params to swing. Link to comment
