For baffles, the stuff at the local store is ok, but for building sumps/tanks/external stuff that has pressure on it, you will not want to use it. Why? Its extruded, and extruded, although cheaper, is not as strong, but mostly it absorbs too much water and the seams will crack over time. You would want to contact a plastics distributor/reatiler and use cast acrylic in that case. Link to comment
