kjohansen Posted June 30, 2007 Share Posted June 30, 2007 Nice tank Donovan... I have an AP 24 150 HQI. I am just setting it up. I have swapped out the stock pump for a MJ 1200, took out the L at the top and ran tubing straight up. I have a Hydor Flow wavemaker instead of the stock outlet. I have the stock foam in the first chamber, but will also be putting LR rubble in there. I also have a MJ 400 an another wavemaker to add additional movement in the tank. Do you have all the plastic gates removed for the flow in? Hopefully I will be setting up mine the rest of the way very soon. Quote Link to comment

A lot has changed in this hobby since then - Improved LED lighting - moving away from Metal Halide - Using dry live rock - more fish allowed in reef tanks and etc. I feel like starting a simple set up with a Waterbox 10 cube. 1 Quote Link to comment
