killahbeez2000 Posted February 2, 2003 Share Posted February 2, 2003 I just purchased this anemone for 10 bux and it is red ant the base or the foot and the tentacles are all white except at the very tip there are red dots. They were in with the Sebae Clownfish so i bought a pair. thank you Link to comment

Dave ESPI Posted February 4, 2003 Share Posted February 4, 2003 derrrrrrr. no. rarely will a clown host in a Condilactus gigatica )although Tinysreef swears to the contrary:P) well perhaps the afore mentioned is possible, but I'd think it more to be a Heteractis crispa or "leathery" Sea Anemone. they have pink tips and a red bassal foot. Chances are it may be bleached out. Link to comment
nickel76 Posted February 6, 2003 Share Posted February 6, 2003 I have had a maroon clown, a gold striped maroon, 2 percs, and a saddel back (of corse not in the same tanks except the percs) ALL of which too Condylactus as hosts. if you put the anenome and the clowns in a big net and hang it on the edge of the aquarium with them in the water for several hours - when released, and the anenome finds a spot it likes, the clown automatically goes right to the anenome.
