Snail eggs????

Those are indeed from the Cerith snail in your picture. The larvae are planktonic and often do not survive captive filtration or are eaten by corals and fish. I wouldn't worry about rotting snail corpses.

The snail eggs in that pic hatched. Now the snail laid 2 more clutches of eggs. Its going on a freaking egg laying rampage. Is this normal?
