I could be VERY mistaken but thats their guts bro. They do it when they are stressed. check water params, temp and whether something is picking at it. They suck'em back in eventually so no worries if it is gone.

That's what they call mushroom taking a dump. It's just throwing out the crap.

Are the shrooms loosing color? Because I heard that they can also loose their zooanthe89u4nfujncknci84nc@.....Well something like that, lol. I guess they can loose their color in other words. LOL.

my gaint green metallics puke out 8" white strings. they look like a piece of white wool thats been doubled over and twisted together.

 

just touching / moving my mushrooms promts this behavior, and within a couple minutes, they retract back into the shroom.
