I got the white balance to work on the camera finally. It gives the real color of the corals now but adds a yellow tint to the tank that is not there in the flesh. Its about as good as I have seen with my crappy camera.

 

So these are some top down shots of my SPS section in my little tank. Things are starting to color up now :)

The Ultimate Dank - Unfortunately I will be taking the tank down mid January to transfer these corals to there new bigger home. We will see how it ends up looking before that times comes though.

Please excuse the algae out break I have no idea whats its deal is. Also with the white balance set the color of the corals come out correct but the tank gets a yellow cast that is not there. It is a 14k crisp white/blue...

You can get xenia to grow on glass pretty easily. Just get a frag of it and place it so the xenia is smashed between the rock its on and the glass. They will climb onto the glass and continue to spread.
