pandabehr
Has anyone here used the taihitian moon subtrate before? I have recently run acroos it on a few websites. It looks like black sand, similar to some of the beaches in hawaii. Any feedback? Link to comment
ksatterwhite
I haven't used this in a tank yet, but have been considering it. I found someone on another MB that uses it in one of her tanks and this is what she said about it: "Yeah, I have it in my 38 gallon reef setup. It looks good, HOWEVER, it shows detritus really bad! So you'd definitely need a sand sifter of some kind. " She also sent two images. I'm going to try and post them. Hopefully it works. Link to comment
Sahin
I like the idea of the black coloured sand, however it would probably make the tank look darkish? Link to comment
pulpsmack
It is in my 30. It makes the tank look rather dark (great for a royal gramma or other dim loving fish). Link to comment
