Hugo
Hi again, Could you please tell me wheather two 32 watt powercompacts over a 7 or 8 gallon tank is enough to keep sps hard corals and lps hard corals. Link to comment
NanoReefer53
that will be good enough for the montipora SPS. The main thing about SPS is water quality so I wouldn't try unless you water conditions are reallllllly good. Link to comment
Toyfreek
I got the 7gal bow and the 32W smartlamp. it was insufficiant to keep even my brownest montipora digitata and he is low light for SPS. I recently installed 2x55W over the tank and I will try it again. I'll let you know. with two 32W's you could maybe pull it off I dunno. Toy Link to comment
SLOreefer
look at deezreef's tank. he has 2x28 and has a wonderful display of sps. it can be done as long as you know what you are doing. Link to comment
NanoReefer53
In deezreef's tank, his acorporas are merely surviving, not thriving (hey ! that rymes). I would not suggest them. The montiporas would grow though. Link to comment
