My scarlets eating my snails and a white snail was eating my blasto!

Don't know what the white snail is but I would get rid of it if you haven't already. As far as the scarlets eating your snails, the only way to avoid that is to put a bunch of empty shells in the tank and make sure that they occasionally have some food if the tank is clean. I've known hermits to eat snails for one of two reasons, either they want the shell of the snail for their own or they don't have enough to eat. By adding more shells to the tank and making sure the hermits have food in the tank, that should keep them from killing any more snails. Just my 2 cents for what it's worth.
