stonefish? (synanceia sp.) fits both bills.

honestly, I dont know of a single person on nano-reef that has one, could be wrong, but I have never seen anyone talk about them before.

 

they're cool, but it's not like it is something super special.

btw they're not born that big. full grown some are 12". not advocating one just noting.

true, i assumed it was radical the way you're describing it.

 

in your pic it looks like a greyish frogfish though, another cool little fish.

 

should've gotten a octopus.

lol, actually i think what you are seeing there is either my tiger stripe turbo snail or a small clump of green/purple zoos.

 

cough cough is camera shy and hid while I took the picture
