doncb
Well, I finally decided to enter and set up a tank. Here is my entry pic (note the stylish woodgrain trim!). Not sure of the stocking yet ( need to consult w/ my tank "decorator" ) but I have 2lbs of LR and some sugar sand that I'll be putting in tonight. Right now I just have a 20w 50/50 for the cycle as I need to order a regular light. I'll also be using an AC20 HOB w/ a drip ATO. Link to comment

doncb
Figuring out what to do in a tank of this size is a challenge. Got to find something special for the open area. The premise for my tank is that everything comes from a LFS. Starting from ground zero. Nothing from my NC. Nothing from an established tank. Start it fresh and let it grow! Link to comment
jmorris
welllll... not sure about where you come from, but the LFS I work at and some others in my area regularly bring in some nice fungia discs. other options that spring to mind: a really colorful flower anenome, an "open brain" or "rose" lps, a low-growing pally/zoo garden, or maybe even just a nice little gsp "lawn"? just some ideas I had. Cheers, Jared Link to comment
doncb
I got my new light from nanotuners (2 thumbs up for great service! ) and I bought a couple of zoo frags from Tranquil Scape Aquarium in Arlington, TX ( super LFS! ). On the hunt for more corals and for that "centerpiece" coral. Link to comment

diablobryan
Looks great! Can you tell me what you're using for a light and a filter/fuge? I know you got the light from Nano-Customs, which one is it exactly? Thanks for the info, again the pico looks great! Link to comment

Ann
That's a neat looking light, I wish we could get those in the UK. Your tank's off to a great start! Best regards Ann Link to comment

The HOB is an Aqua Clear 20 w/ just some LR pieces in it and a small pad to filter the big stuff. The light is the 18W Current Satallite. Chris is great. I ordered on Tuesday afternoon and he shipped it the same day. Link to comment

doncb
Well, the tank is moving along nicely. Had a slight cyano bloom and now it has progressed to the green dust algae on the glass. Zoas are open and this weekend I need to frag and place some of the stuff I got. Here is a pic of one of the little "extras" I got on one mushroom frag. There are 2 of them. I also put together a drip ATO. I'll post some pics this weekend. Link to comment

cybaix
How did you do your drip top off? Did you follow one of the air pump top off systems here? I have been wanting to do one for mine but am not sure where to start. Link to comment
