Sahin
Some of you may remember that I posted a thread about this a week ago. After searching around on other sites I noticed that people who have the same problem, usually mix a whole bunch of salt in say a litre of water, mix this, then add the required water to make up the right salinity. Now I did this exactly, and my water went cloudy. I thought the Reef crystal salt was crap or bad. Today I made a fresh amount of saltwater, but I added the required amount of salt for 30litres of water... And got NO CLOUDINESS. I think that if mixed the other way, in a small amount of water, with such a high salinity, the calcium precipitates-causing the cloudyness. I just thought this was a useful observation to mention for the benefit of others. Link to comment
