best fish for a 7 gallon?

Ok...you might be asking for a little trouble wanting to put 2 fish in a 7 gallon but I'll help. Two fish IMO is the absolute MAXIMUM for fish in that volume.....some may even say one is pushing it.

I think the best fish for a sub 10 gallon nano would be the common clowfish aka Percula clown. They are hardy, inexpensive, colorful, and full of life. Two would get along great and that's what I would do if I put two fish in a 7 gallon.

Gobies might be the way to go. You could do 1 clown 1 goby.

things like:

neons (g. oceanops)

gold neons (g. ?)

green banded (g. multifact...)

clown (green and yellow)

tiger (g. macradon)

all stay small- 1"-2". completely non-aggressive, and you would have critters in all the water column.

just a thought
