actinic NO bulb smaller that 18"??

anyone know of any NO actinic bulbs that will fit inside a 16" hood? maybe a small 12" actinic? was looking around and didn't see anything listed at any of the major sites...smallest i've seen so far is the 15w 18"er. I know i could throuw in a 13w PC, but i have an extra NO fixture i'd like to use

i think the issue you'll be running into is the endcap diameters. T8 or T12 (i.e. 1" or 1-1/2"). i think hagen has a small/short tube that fits into the standard eclipse fixture (T5?) but it isn't the VHO T5 just the regular tiny NO. i don't think there's anything shorter than 18" for the T12's (uri).

 

or you could get 1 or 2 galaxy lights and pop them in (around $20) for 13w PC. more spectrum options too. marine depot carries a very good selection of 13w & 9w bulbs with varying spectrums at very good prices (imo).
