Glenn
Good Idea! Research all you can and lurk on the boards so that you can learn from others mistakes/successes. I set my FO tank up over a year ago without doing the proper research (went only by what the LFS said, and I didn't know about aquarium message boards....X) ) well long story short, I am still correcting all the mistakes, but luckily nearly all of my fish have made it through it all. A couple tid-bits of advice: the price tag never stops going up and patience is key. Overall it sounds like you have the right mind frame, hence you will be successful. Link to comment
glazer
i don't want to end up with a tank crash three months after starting and get out of the hobby because i rushed things and wasn't willing to spend the money. Posts you like to see...... heed your own advice and you'll do fine. Looking forward to seeing a FINE setup in the members section. Link to comment
