reef n ale
I think the pondmaster series has long power cords...like 18' or so. Other than that I'm not sure. Rob Link to comment
gjones
I work at a pond shop, they sent us both once and there's no difference that i could see, i think it's just a marketing ploy, but you do need to take it out and clean it thouroughly every few months to keep the salt deposits down. Daemonfly
Also, not sure if it's a difference between the two, or just a different option, but you can get the pumps with either stock hose barbed in/outputs or threaded. So, if you want one or the other, check first. Link to comment
atticusfinch
well just ordered it off ebay for $44.80 sure beats $150.00 anyway .. im getting there Lighting going onto my tank thats the lighting im getting what do you think? Link to comment
Caesar777
I like that wall--perfect for a tank. Did you do that custom, or was it just like that? My parents' old place has a square hole built into the wall for a custom-built elongated octagon tank. Has wooden "flaps" to hide lighting, etc., and has electrical sockets right inside. Really nice, at least for a freshwater setup or frogs or something. Link to comment
atticusfinch
It was a nasty lattice the hole was there but the lattice had to be removed .. once in I realized it was only 46" and the tank was 48" .. there were 2 pieces of 2x4 on each side .. for no reason not supporting anything so i took those out ... I built a stand in the back to hold part of the tank , skimer, wetdry .. and thats pretty much it well that and the company I orderd the lights from seem sort of flakey ... anyone know anything from aquaium lights .. which also seems to be petsupplyliquidator and catalina lights? .. attached a pic of the back for you ceaser Link to comment
vangvace
Longer power cord and a much cheaper price tag on the pond series... Link to comment
