leeweber85
What and how many should I stock. I would guess it has around 7lbs of live rock(never actually weighed it, but its a good amount) and 6lbs of biosediment (around 1 1/2" deep) it has a AC 20(mini)with filter/carbon I was thinking: 1 scarlet reef hermit crab 1 dwarf blue legged hermit crab 2 ceriths 2 margaritas some type of shrimp I would really like a coral banded shrimp.... would it be too big for this small of a tank? What about a skunk cleaner? I don't really care for the sexy anemone, or peppermints. I'm guessing any fish would be out of the question? even a neon blue goby? Link to comment
Duke13
I'd say get like 2-3 Scarlet Hermits, plain avoid the blue legs if possible. You can probably substitute the Margaritas with Astreas. Here's my suggestion for you: 4 Nassarius Snails 2-3 Cerith Snails 2-3 Astrea Snails 2-3 Scarlett Hermits 1 Skunk Cleaner Shrimp Your tank would probably be too small a CBS. Not to say that it can't be done, but the small space may make the CBS more aggressive than normal. You can have one fish, IMO. I'd stay with something small like a Clown or Neon Goby. leeweber85
Thanks Duke, I figured a CBS would be too big.... but there so cool not to ask. Why should I stay away from the blue legs? Link to comment
Duke13
They fight with each other too much. Scarletts are much more docile - they're worth the extra money. Link to comment
leeweber85
Only with each other, or all hermits? Link to comment
Duke13
Mainly with each other but I think they will fight with any other hermits if they wanted their shell bad enough. Link to comment
