I have got 70 kg live rock ý want to buy T5 light 56w (1*white+3*actinc)onthe other hand i have got 150W Mh but i dont want to use it. Its good idea for T5 using or have you got any idea for example use Mh and 2 T5 maybe possible ý dont know what am i use pls help. I have got 2 yellow tang, 1 bicolor angel, 2 clown fish and 3 anemons. I want to buy hard coral for example montipora capcronis. Tahnk you. Link to comment
Psimitry Posted July 28, 2005 Share Posted July 28, 2005 I would probably go for a combination of MH and T5. I'd use the MH lighting with a rating of 10,000K (or even as low as 6,500K) for coral growth coupled with a pair of T5 actinic bulbs for blue coloration. Should be about the spectrum you're looking for. If you're planning on keeping clams/corals/SPS you'll definately want to consider using that MH bulb. You'll probably want to consider picking up a second one for your 80 gallon tank. Link to comment
