That looks nice...   I'd be interested in the tank's stats.  Nicely done!

 

Also, what are the pink things on the right?

my ocellaris clown usually hangs out by the thermometer he even perches himself on it.  i think hes taken it as a host.  her he is venturing out a littlefishy.JPG

tank- 5 gallon walmart (30 bucks)

filter-  penguin mini with biowheel. i run filter with carbon

lighting- 32 w csl smartlight. upgrading to 2x32 this

    week.  just have to build new hood

circulation- rio 90 adjusted down

one gallon weekly water change

dosing b-ionic

temp- 80 degrees constant

sg-1024

substrate- aragonite crushed coral

occupants: 1 ocellaris, 2 types green star pollyps, green and purple mushrooms, yellow pollyps, electric flame scallop, maxima clam, orange sponge, and orange sun pollyps(the pink stuff on the right, actually orange but the color was faded on pic)

actually i just added the clam a few days ago.  hes doing good so far.  im gonna double the lighting today though just to make sure he has enough.  i got him at a lfs for 20 bucks.  they had a bunch of little ones like mine and some blue ones. the blue ones were 60. if this does well which i fully expect him to then im gonna get a blue one.

Very nice setup... Quick question for you.

 

Did you find by limiting the flow on your Rio 90, that your tempature increased? Just curious. Thanks!

  i didnt notice an increase in temp.  my temp stays right around 80 all the time.  even before i added the power head.
