lavalars
I have a 12dx with just one Yellow Clown Goby. I want to get a clown, should I get 1 or two of them? Link to comment
Caesar777
One, or zero. Three fish is really pushing it in a 12. Link to comment
Cetra324
I'd say zero. I've found it's so much easier maintaining my 20 long since my firefish passed on. Your life is much easier when you're below your max bio-load, rather than pushing the limit as hard as you possibly can. *edit* Plus clown fish really are so much more fun in pairs, and you certainly can't have 3 fish in a 12. Well... maybe if they were neon gobies or something. *shrug* Link to comment
lgreen
i'd say zero because clowns should be kept in pairs. i hate it when people only put in one clown. that is so un-natural. if fish naturally occur in pairs, then it just makes sense to keep them in pairs. Link to comment

Caesar777
That should be everyone's "sig": Never listen to the LFS! Link to comment
lavalars
Yeah, I nixxed the clown idea. i'm actually going to have just one clown gobie for now. I've got my cyano problem controlled and coraline growth is starting to pick up, but I just dont wanna have to worry...although I almost think it would be better to get another fish just because its hard to feed little enough for my one tiny fish. lol. Let's just say my pep shrimp gets it all Link to comment
