Just got my 175 hamilton pendant light setup, it came with a Catalina 20K bulb but it does look that blue, it has been on for more than an hour, will it get bluer or is this it?

A bulb will indeed change shade and intensity as it burns in. Usually after 10 hours or so you should be able to see more of what it will look like however some bulbs will take longer.

Now, this is my experience so take it with a grain of salt, but most of the time bulbs will be a little bluer than they will be after burn in. For example a 14,000K will look alot like a 20,000 until it burns in, and a 10,000 will look like a 12,000 or so. I have never experienced a shift that caused the bulb to get bluer, but that doesn't mean that it can't happen. The truth is each companies own scale will be different in comparison to anothers, but in your case that looks a hell of alot like a 10,000K bulb. Are you sure it is a 20? Does the bulb say what it is?

It says 20k on the box, but it could easily be mislabeled, I will have to check the bulb when it is off

Catalina bulbs are crap. I also purchased a 20k bulb from them awhile ago for my g/f and it looked idenical to your pictures. I also hoped it would turn slightly bluer in time but that never happened. I suggest you go buy a different brand bulb.
