xdannyx_
its actually on the underside of the bulkhead in my diy overflow(with the lee's specimen containers)its a little leaky so i used that stuff to stop it Link to comment
winniebagel
Silicone would've also been helpful in fixing the leak too. Link to comment
xdannyx_
it doesnt really stick as well though i've tried it before on stuff like that, i wanted to use something harder. but do you think it will contaminate water? Link to comment
winniebagel
I always thought that surfaces you wanted to cement together were supposed to be dry (during both the application and curing/drying stages) so it doesn't leech substances into the water. You might try running some activated carbon, just in case. Link to comment
xdannyx_
oh no it wasnt running water through it or anything when i did it. sorry i wasnt clear Link to comment
winniebagel
then it should be okay once the pvc cement is all cured. Link to comment
