reef-luva Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 Your pH IS low... How long has it been set-up? What size is your tank? You have a very large clean-up crew if it's a smaller tank.... (15gal or smaller)
ktownhero Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 Yeah, I agree about the PH. What kind of salt are you using? My tank never drops below 8.2, but with weekly water changes stays closer to 8.4. I would definitely say do a water change. How long has it been since you did one? How big is this tank? How long do you keep your lights on each day (this affects ph)?

BKtomodachi Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 The water chnages will help the pH stabilize itself... congrats, it sounds like you are on your way.
rsaavedra Posted July 8, 2005 Author Posted July 8, 2005 BK thanks for your comments, 1st water change was done added Kent Marine Superbuffer-dKH and ph raised to one point to 7.9 added more last night and need to test tonight again to see if it raises some more.
