very nice! you could put a little bit more rock on the top and make the rockwork taller. very colorful ;)

that's like along the lines of what I was striving for in my tank..colorful and FULL of life

How much actual water is in there and how much sand do you have? Also how often do you change or have to add water and other chemicals? Thanks absolutely stunning!

Thanks for the comments,

I have about 25lbs of sand, no idea how much water I have in there, and there's already a lot of rocks - I've already decided that the next tank will have much less rock/water ratio as well as a larger sandbed.

Weekly water change with Oceanic salt, no chemicals, no additives.

I have the stock stand. I can barely fit an auto-topoff unit in there.

Why? Is your auto-topoff unit really big or is the inside of the stand really small?

Is the stand stable?

More of the latter, I think inside dimensions are ~8-9" x 12-13". At least it's solid & stable.

A note about height of the rockwork: Since the MH was so close to the surface, I would not have any light spread at all if the rocks were any higher.
