I think I have a big one growing on a rock, but it looks like a zoo as well. i have killed the little clear guys, but this one looks different. Can zoos jump rock and spread like that, or is this probably a pest? Link to comment
fishybusiness Posted May 31, 2005 Share Posted May 31, 2005 From what I know of them, the ones that live in darkness are clear because the algae can't survive within them. The ones that are brown have a specific algae in them(symbiosis). They can survive with or without it. Just to be safe though I'd kill it anyway. If it was a zoo it doesn't sound very good looking.
