Anyone have a 24g crack?

I have this weekend to pick 24DX or 30L. Just wondering if anyone had a 24 crack like the 12s.

Had my 24g DX 2 months. No problems.

All the posts that I've seen and in the lfs have all had 12s that have been cracked, so far no 24s. But then I also hear the 12s are cracking due to the type of stands they are using because the stands are not level. For what that's worth.

Chronicles...make sure you do a test before setting up your tank. Run it for as long as it takes to make sure your walls are intact, heater works well and pump is running. SH

My tank actually blew in the middle of the night, it had a crack that went around most of the tank. JBJ did replace after I dorve down there, but.... the 2nd tank had a leak so I had to drive down and get a 3rd. DOnt think Id EVER buy a JBJ again.

If you get a 30L, how will you be able to put an MH mod into it? ???

I had one crack after 1 week. The second one is still OK (2 mos). I still don't sleep well though....

Had my 24g DX since end of March, no problems.

no problems here either....

tank crashed, disassembled and back again, still no problems with the tank.

The main thing with JBJ tanks cracking is that if they arent perfectly level, they crack easily.
