marc
I have a 24gal nanocube dx(the old model) and I wanted to upgrade the lighting. After hearing positive comments about nanocustoms.com on this and other forums I decided to call them up and see what they could offer me. I ended up buying the 3.36 upgrade kit which included a second ballast, 36watt pc, all the wiring, plugs etc., and I opted to also include a 10watt T5. I wanted to try to do it myself and asked if they would be willing to help me over the phone if I got stuck. They said yes I bougtht the kit. Doing it yourself isn't really hard but not knowing much about wiring, I was tentative. I must have called 15 times, but Chris was more than happy each time to walk me through the instillation. My new hood is up and running, the new lights kicka$$. I have to commend chris at nanocustoms for the outstanding customer service and helpful advice about his product and nano's in general. He even took the extra step to call the next day to see how things were working. I would highly recommend them and their products to anyone who is interested in juiceing your nano up! keep up the good work, and I'll be posting some pics soon. Marc Link to comment
Web Guy
I just set up a 12DX and was wondering which upgrade was offered for another light to add a 3rd? I am not looking to go crazy but a nice upgrade would be nice. Please give me any suggestions. Link to comment

If you're at all handy with tools (and have some laying around) you should be able to upgrade to 72w without a problem. Do you have an '04 or '05 hood (the '05 has the splashguard that covers all the way to the back of the hood). I think the the 3.24 upgrade kit is one possible option. Link to comment
