chemipure question

Hi,

I did something dumb and ordered three packs of Chemipure (total $16). As I read more, I've decided not to use Chemipure in my tank. So my question is: should I try to return it or is it OK if I use them until I am done with these three packs and stop using it afterwards..? thanks

I've ####ed away money faster than you can blink on a billion different things for my tank - and almost all of it was more than $16. So as far as a large scale screw up purchase goes, I think yours is trivial.

 

Now, why ask everyone for their permission to return it? If the store was local you'll probably be back about 300 times in the next couple of months so do it then. If it was a mail order purchase and you're too lazy to put it back in the box and ship it, then hang on to it and use it later. You'll probably end up using it in the long run any way.

Is there any particular reason why you don't want to use chemipure? It's a decent carbon/resin combination. After your cycle, it will help remove some of the cycle-resultant nutrients.
