ParaDiddle
I want to isolate compartment 1 (overflow) from the other 2 compartments of the cube. What do you think the best way to do this is? Is it better to use a piece of glass with silicone, or use plexiglass with silicone? Link to comment
doncb
The opening between 1 & 2 is at the bottom so I'd just use a piece of plexi w/ silicone. Why is it you want to seal it off? Link to comment
ParaDiddle
I've drilled the bottom of my cube and have a Stockman Pipe overflow. I'll have 3 return lines on a wavemaker with pumps in the 2nd and 3rd compartment. One of my lines is in the exact middle of the rear wall. So I need to seal the overflow comparment completely, otherwise when the power goes out, my cube will drain all the way down to half full. Link to comment
doncb
Sounds like a neat mod. Can understand why you'd want to seal off the bay! Link to comment
