cannondale
i just pulled out of the box my new 12 gallon dx. I am pretty excited about the nite vu, but I, like others, wish it was on a different circuit as far as timers go. I have purchased live rock at my lfs for my last two tanks and the quality is not wonderful. Any suggestions out there for some really, really nice live rock, I dont mind curing myself in the new tank. I want this tank to look and operate like a champ. I also want to say that www.aquariumplants.com was great. They actually filled my tank with water and ran it for a few days to make sure that there were no leaks. The price was killer too. I called them and they were very nice and the packaging was out of this world, double boxed with peanuts inbetween. Thanks again guys. matt:pirate: Link to comment
Diatome
Congrats. I really like my 12 and it isn't even a dx. You could try this place, recommended by a friend who really had good luck with them http://www.exoticfish.com/index.cfm You could also go with Tampa Bay saltwater http://www.tampabaysaltwater.com/ though you will have a ton of hitchikers. If you like that kind of challenge. Maybe even a nano pack from liveaquria http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/scateg.....cfm?pCatId=393 As you can tell, I like to shop around for this stuff. Good luck with the cube. Link to comment
Chronicles
I'd go with the nanno pack from Drs. Foster & Smith @ liveaquaria SW - DFS Select Nano Live Rock - 16 lb Box $ 69.99 Not only will the smaller rocks of different shapes afford you to aquascape your nano reef with ease, it is also more bio-diverse incorporating live rock from different parts of the ocean. This box of Nano Live Rock was developed especially for the Nano Cube, but will also accommodate other small aquariums from 8 to 16 gallons in size. The quantity and diversity of rock included will allow you to create a beautiful aquascape, with many open holes and crevices, for marine life to hide. Link to comment
