Perfect just in case when I add the additional 2x32w dual actinics I get spike in temps I can crank up the volts. The fans I got push alot of air and not to noisy at 7.5v. Thanks again. RandyO Posted May 6, 2005 Share Posted May 6, 2005 Some of the cheaper 12v fans do have a problem at under 9 volts Most of the computers we put together today have variable voltage to the fans to regulate speed.(temp control) There are a handful out there that will in fact not run at lower voltages. You guys might want to post the names and model numbers of the fans you are using so that the others can make sure they do not get stiffed by one of these crapola fans. Link to comment
