Mnesarchus
I have been feeding my Cleaner Shrimp a couple of small pieces of scallop every day. Is this too much? Or too little? How often does everyone feed their cleaners? Thanks Link to comment
spoondigity
I feed my tank twice a day. When I do, I feed the cleaner a few little bits by hand of whatever frozen food I happen to be feeding. I have been told that with enough live rock and the fallout from feeding the tank, the cleaner doesn't even have to be fed but I have also been told it is good to give it something directly a couple times a day and I would tend to lean this way myself. My cleaner has been doing great for months under this scehdule and he/she is always very eager at meal time. P.S. I have been told repeatedly by many long time reefers that it is good to soak foods in both Zoe and Zoecon or some similar products. I have always done this just to make sure nothing essential is missed. Both products claim to help invertebrates as well as fish. Link to comment
