Davenandez
So here's the story: I have a red mushroom coral that is attached to a shell and was sitting happily atop one of my pieces of lr when the smallest of my hermits decided that this looked like the perfect home and, well, moved in!! My question: is there any way to evict this unwanted tennant?? -side question has anyone used Proquatics Bacteria Starter and seen results or anything significant? Link to comment
goblinshark
put another shell in and dont use it, you dont need bacteria starter in a reef Link to comment
Kogut
Just put a more appetizing shell in and wait for it to grow. Don't put chemicals in your tank to try and "boost" or "jump-start" anything. Good luck w/ the crab. My hermits get threatened daily for knocking over my acros! Link to comment
Davenandez
i wasnt gonna use it w/o asking u guys first anyways and i have like a selection of 15+ shells for this guy that were already in there but he just decided that this one was the most appetising for him Link to comment
sir winston mulligan
glue the shell with the hermit in it where you want the mushroom, then put the shell you want the hermit to move in to next to him and he'll move in Link to comment
