Blind Tree Frog
In my tank I had this big brown fuzzy mushroom that was doing great. All of my mushrooms and ric's were. Then one day they all closed up and stayed that way for a week or two. Infact, about half of my tank did the same. Over the next week, most everything picked back up except the mushrooms. They are still a bit closed up but don't look too sick or anything i guess. A fish died during this time so I figured that that was the cause of everything. Anyhow, looking in my tank today at the fuzzy mushroom i see this thing in a hole in the rock that looks like a pistachio nut in shape. It's kind of open and it looks like there is something inside of it, but i can't really make anything out. It almost looks like it has tentacles inside of the shell. Any guesses as to what it might be? Sorry, no pictures at this time. I'll see what I can do about that. Quote Link to comment
Howf777
sounds like some sort of shell fish i have a few of those in my tank, they dont move or anything, just plant their foot in a crevice and filter feed i guess Quote Link to comment
Blind Tree Frog
It's not going to bother my mushroom is it? The mushroom covers it when it is expanded. Any way to easily move it? Like jab it every now and then and convice it that it doesn't like that hole? Quote Link to comment
