SBGRAD24
Has anyone successfully kept a Peppermint and Coral Banded shrimp together? Link to comment
My Alife 7
I don't think it be a good idea... peppermint will probably get killed. Link to comment
Toyfreek
I see a short life for the peppermint.....hey I'm psychic! just kidding, anyway as My alife 7 says prolly bad Idea in a nano. If you had a large tank they prolly wouldn't find each other and duke it out for sometime. HTH, toy Link to comment
devil
how big shuld a tank be for a CB to live peacefully with other shrimps? Link to comment
gabe3eb
The answer is no, and devil, no the same goes for you... Ha, why would you want to risk it. The coral banded simply doesn't like other shrimp, so why even try? Instead, skimp him and you can keep several other shrimp peacefully together. As to what size tank would be ok for the two not to get each other. It isn't a matter of them getting each other, it is a matter of when they find each other and I wouldn't put it past a new tankmate shrimp to go searching on his first day... cablamo, no more peppermint. Not worth the risk I don't think... gaber Link to comment
