rwoody
Do I leave my Nano Reef lighting on all night, or do I turn them off at night? I have a new 7.5 Mlife aquarium some live rock and about 1" of sand. I started the tank on Friday. Thank you. Link to comment
printerdown01
Photo periods usually run from about 10-12 hrs. So, lights out... I'm guessing you have an Alife (mlife is some sort of phone/phone plan -hehe). What type of lighting (it comes in two designs 13W and 27W)? Link to comment
rwoody
Not sure what size lighting, one bulb is blue and the other is white. Thank you, I will turn them off Link to comment
spectre
If you have 2 switches(one for the blue and one for the white), I would buy a couple of appliance timers and simulate a dawn/dusk scenario. Have the blue (actinic) come on an hour BEFORE the white bulb, and turn the blue bulb off an hour AFTER the white bulb. Closer to real life for the little fellas. HTH Link to comment
