Rayscopes
Is there any fish that I can put in my 2.5 gal pico or is this tank just too small? Link to comment
Travis
Don't try to keep a fish in a tank UNDER 5 Gallons. Unless you have a 10 Gallon Sump with a skimmer and/or Fuge hooked up to the display tank. Link to comment
vyger
Best fish for 2.5 gal ..............NONE Link to comment
Dan_G25
hah vyger took the words out of my mouth. I suggest you get a cool shrimp or crab like a harlequin shrimp. Link to comment

rhs
Let's hear from some other people that have 2.5 gals, what's in your tank ? corals, mushrooms, gsp, shrimp, fish Link to comment
Whitten
Well I can tell you that fish are possible. I had a small Clown in mine for over a year granted he had a larger home to go to after he got to big. A fish that would do well in that tank would be a neon goby. They never get much bigger than an inch. Link to comment
vyger
Mushrooms and pollups and snails ..oh my Link to comment

Brian da lion
I have had a yellowtail damsel in mine for about 2 months. It seems to be doing well. Link to comment
Travis
I am still sticking to no fish under 5 gallons. Link to comment
Dan_G25
I agree, I really think you should look into cool inverts. Like a pair of sexy shrimp would be friggin sweet. Link to comment
jaykay
A tang!!! A tang!!! Or trigger... Hehehe Link to comment
AndyL
With that much live rock... I'd agree with the rest - none... My 2.5 however has a redheaded goby It seems quite happy, water quality is maintained nicely. Andy Link to comment

uglybuckling
IMHO a redheaded goby would be ok. There's a guy who calls himself "Liquid" who kept a blue-green chromis in his 2.5.... http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/showthread...&threadid=10233 --Bucky Link to comment
rhs
Does anyone think more live rock would be beneficial in this tank? Link to comment
Sushi
i would toss more LR in... and if it were my tank, i would probably try to get a pair of sexy shrimp or something for it... perhaps a red headed goby as stated before. Link to comment
new2nanos
Clown gobies are cool. They stay small so they won't tax your bioload Link to comment
PeytonH22
I would agree, check out the yellow clown goby. Also, id put about 4-5 lbs of total LR. Link to comment
samwoo2go
I have a Hin-Fin Red banded Goby and pistol shrimp pair in my 2.5g, and they are doing great, but I do have a AC200 converted refugium tho. Link to comment
