I think this will fix it When you loose power you get air in the syphon. when the power comes back on the venturi will pull the air out and your syphon is magicly restored Link to comment

RobinsonFam1 Posted December 5, 2004 Share Posted December 5, 2004 yes that will work. most people use a small powerhead in the tank with a venturi hooed up in the same manner. i tried to have a long run of hose like your pic and it didnt work. i then put a powerhead in the tank and viola it worked.
