SmCaudata Posted December 3, 2004 Share Posted December 3, 2004 I have heard people putting a small piece of raw shrimp at the begining to boost the amonia levels. This would be for very dry and dead rock. Most LR will have enough dead critters on it by the time that you get it that you will not need anything else to start the cycle. Link to comment
