cdm Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 ok guys i bought my first coral today, im really excited about it!its a small little frag! ok the thing is it wasnt connected to a rock ive had one hell of a time getting him to stay in his little crevis, i moved the filter over so that it wouldnt blow him away, i just thought of that while writing this, so ill keep you posted. my question though, how long will it take for this guy to hold onto the rock?
ebin Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 What kind of coral is it? What kind of setup do you have?
cdm Posted December 2, 2004 Author Posted December 2, 2004 its a small zoo frag about the size of a half dollar! ya i know! but payday aint till next friday. that wouldnt by any chance be a pic of you under your name would it?
EtOH_is_good Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 try super glueing the frag to a larger piece of lr for better stability.
cdm Posted December 2, 2004 Author Posted December 2, 2004 really that wont hurt it or release unwanted chemicals into the water?
bravoreefer Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 th lil piece of rock the Zos frag is on will not hurt to glue it to the other LR in the tank. Use any GEL SUPER GLUE. Regular super glue would be too runny.
Tigahboy Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 And make sure the super gel you use has as its active ingredient, cyanoacrylate. That stuff is definitely safe.
