Please help! Parasite problem?

Hi all

I just found some critters all ove my tank glass today. They look like tiny little starfish w/ a solid body and eight arms sticking out. Theyre so tiny that I couldnt get a good pic.

 

At first I thought they were starfish but now I'm afraid they might be parasites of some kind.

Please help identify. Thanks.

do a search for hydroid and see if that's what they are.

 

If so, they're harmless.
