djm32189
I don't have any live rock or anything and my tank has been set up for around 6 months. All levels are fine and the inhabitants are a clown and a pajama cardinal 1 peppermint shrimp and 1 hermit crab. I have crushed coral down now and was wondering if I should add a bag of live sand...or not neccessay/too much substrate thanx Link to comment
Physh1
If everything is fine there is zero need to. If you want to you can BUT I see no reason to do it. Cameron Link to comment
Meercat_Maric
Heck couldn't hurt anything. If anything it might intriduce a new species of pods to your tank and perhaps even help increase your bio load - which means more fish in the end. Link to comment
