wnuk
Here are some pictures of the new reef that I have been working on. Its my first project and I am waiting on getting some more powerful lighting , I have purchased it I am just waiting for them to arrive. here are the stats as we speak 20h AQUA GLO 15W NO MARINE GLO 15W NO (When my ballast kit comes in I will be switching to 55W PC 50/50) 13 lbs LR 15lbs LS 15-20 various types of polyps/muchrooms/corals that are alive 5 blue legged hermits 3 turbo snails All my levels are doing fine and are staying constant ie/ pH, nitrite etc. I am planning on waiting a few more weeks before adding anything else that is alive, I lucked out when I bought my LR that it was covered in polyps/mushrooms and even some sps I have been told Other than more powerful lighting can anyone think of anything more I should be adding to the tankwhile I am letting it cycle I plan on buying another 10 lbs of LR this week(thats the reason I haven't really aquascaped it yet) and I know I will need some more cleaning crew members, as I am already accumulating algae. the pics are located here: http://members.rogers.com/reef/ Link to comment
ross76053
Nice lookin' tank, wnuk! You might want to think about adding a blue or black background to hide the wires at some point. Ross Link to comment

ajroahkni
You'll have a whole lot less stress if you paint instead. No need to go w/ spray... go to Home Depot, get a pint (or less) of interior latex paint. Brush on. $5 for a permanent background that's ZERO maintenance when thick enough (no scratches, etc.). Oh, BTW - that is one awesome looking LR on the right. Link to comment
tgrupert
I like the rock on the right. it's perfect for hiding a filter intake. Link to comment
