EnFuego
I have a 16"x16"x16" acrylic cube that i am going to use for a nano reef tank. I need to get some powerheads for it and was originally going to do a sump, but it has a built in wet/dry that i think i will just add rubble to instead. So now i need ideas for powerheads. Would it be good to get two of these: http://www.bigalsonline.com/catalog/produc...3859&pcid1=2181 They are Eheim Aquaball Powerhead- 1212. Output of 172 gph. Is that enough for my size tank? michreef
Well, I use a Microjet 440 (117 g/h) on my 16x16x16. Along with the return pump, it gives me plenty of water movement. Link to comment
richmondreefer
yeah Id go with something like the micro jet or mini jet. I bought the Aquaball when I was 1st starting my tank, it looked small online, but is about the size of a baseball. Too big for my tastes. peace Link to comment
EnFuego
thanks...that was my concern-them being too big. I'll check out micro/mini jets Link to comment
JsL
I have microjets and Maxijets. They are excellent silent! With the microjet, you need to clean the filter pad once a week as it gets clogged easily. Link to comment
