Boshwok840
Hello. I'm contemplating starting a nano-tank. I was originally planning on a 10 gallon tank with a HOB fuge, but now am thinking about a 20 gallon tank with an in-tank fuge. It would span the length of the tank and start about 4 inches from the back. This would make it approximately 1/3 of the tank volume. My main question is...since the fuge is a part of the tank, will my regular tank lighting be sufficient (2x65W for 20g)? When constructing the fuge, would black acrylic be alright or would that block out too much light? Thanks. Link to comment
mik
its something like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...4338559868&rd=1 your lighting is plenty and if you want to do black acrylic just do the top see through so light can get in. Link to comment
Angel
Actually, I think Bosh may be referring to one similar to this: http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/showthread...ge&pagenumber=2 If you have enough light spill over, I see no problem. If not, then just a small light would work. Link to comment
