russ49merc
Just wondering if anyone has ever used these? the one from CPR looks pretty good. or would it be better to just modify a AC500 ? thanks. Link to comment
Bobby417919
Hey Russ If you are planning on putting this a nano i would go with the AC 500. one reason is you dont have much room in a nano as it is and in tank refugium would tank up valuable space. Robert Link to comment
russ49merc
maybe I should have clarified. this is not going to go into my nano. but it will be going in my 60 I have 4 nano tanks and one 60. and the reason is i don't have a refugium on my 60. I was just looking for something to temporally make the tank a little healthier than just a wet/dry filter. thanks Link to comment
Tempest
IMO they're kinda small to be useful on a 60g tank. Link to comment
Bobby417919
I think i agree with Tempest the CPR is a little to small i think. Link to comment
russ49merc
so maybe my best bet would be to just put together a ac500 or a larger HOB model.??????? Link to comment
Tempest
IMO your best bet for a 60 gallon tank would be to use a 10 or 20 gallon tank as a fuge... but that would need some plumbing. Link to comment
Bobby417919
Yeah, or if you want a small tank Link to comment
