phinatic
Has anyone had success with a BTA and SPS in a nano tank? I have a scape with an upper and lower section. SPS up top, and would like to put the BTA down below if it cooperates. I expect that I would need to remove child anemones to prevent overrunning the tank. Any other challenges when keeping with SPS specifically? Are many SPS capable of fending off an encroaching BTA? Quote Link to comment
TheKleinReef
assuming all the husbandry is in check. Here's what I recommend: put the nem in first, let it find it's home and adjust flow and lighting to entice it to stay relatively where you want it. Once it finds a spot that it wants and that you're happy with, put the SPS around it. Of course account for the area around the nem and the inevitable splits the anemone will go through. ultimately, small tanks and nems/sps is a delicate game of space for both. 1 Quote Link to comment
