Snail shell algae

Has anyone had orange algae like this before on their snails? I added photos in daylight and a more blue moonlight setting.

I’ve seen one pic of algae like that, but I don’t remember any details. Just did a search and found this:

I've seen few algae do that when dying.  It's a guess, but I think it's similar to fall colors in tree leaves.  When the chlorophyl goes, you see underlying pigments, some of which are florescent.

 

Pretty cool looking whatever it is.

I have seen that around my tank in last few months too.
