Difference between the Pro and Original IceCap Algae Scrubbers?

I've been trying to find out what updates (aside from the obvious difference in lights) have been made to the new IceCap Pro External Algae Scrubbers. I've seen some issues in the past about leaks and warped lids. Have these been addressed in the new model and do they still use metric plumbing? Thanks.
